  • Glasgow Library Resources

Glasgow is home to the largest public network of library and information services including 32 community libraries, 29 school libraries and the iconic Mitchell Library.

When you join online to the Glasgow Libraries, you will be issued with a temporary membership number which will allow you to borrow from a wide range of eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines and eMusic, as well as access a range of online information resources. You can also access the research and reference eResources, which allows access to encyclopaedias, dictionaries, academic journals and research papers from leading publishers.

You can join the Glasgow Libraries at your local Glasgow Life library, at the branches at the Easterhouse and East End campus or at the learning centres in Glasgow City and the Springburn campus. You can also join online to begin using some of the resources immediately.
