SCVO and Glasgow Kelvin College Free Online Digital Inclusion Qualifications
Glasgow Kelvin College, in partnership with SCVO are delighted to announce the release of these SCQF credit rated courses, designed to support local people get online and take measures to address the digital skills gap in Scotland. This course has been co-designed by representatives and members of SCVO, working with staff from Glasgow Kelvin College. The courses are delivered online and are FREE! There are no entry requirements, other than having a strong interest in digital inclusion.

The Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award, known as iDEA is an international programme that helps you develop digital, enterprise and employability skills for free.
We help organisations and their people cascade basic digital skills through our premium Digital Champion learning, training and support. Our Digital Champions Network is a proven foundation for delivering meaningful digital participation.
Dyslexia Scotland (via OpenLearn Create)
Three linked courses written by the Addressing Dyslexia Toolkit and Dyslexia Scotland with the support of the Opening Educational Practices in Scotland Project. All three courses use the General Teaching Council Scotland’s focus areas identified to support professional learning.

Financial Support
Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS)
Provides assessment, funding and support to full-time and part-time Scottish students in higher education.
Individual Training Accounts (ITA)
Individual Training Accounts are available to help people develop the skills they need for work, giving learners who meet the eligibility criteria up to £200 towards a single training course or training episode per year. And because it’s not a loan, the money doesn’t need to be paid back.
