    Glasgow Kelvin College subscribes to a number of academic and archival resources ranging from subscriptions to single sources, specialised collections, and academic journal databases that offer access to a vast array of resources on a wide range of topics.

    These resources are available 24/7 both on and off campus, via the internet and most are authenticated using your College username and password.

    • Dawsonera

      ​Browse through a collection of over 890 electronic books (e-book). Logon via the Shibboleth option and select 'Glasgow Kelvin College' from the dropdown menu.

      Digimap offers access to a range of datasets for the purposes of education and research.

    • ProQuest - Ebook Central (formerly ebrary)

      Browse through a collection of 576 electronic books (e-book) covering all subject areas, with most allowing unlimited concurrent users.

    • JISC Historical Texts

      Historical Texts brings together four historically significant collections for the first time: Early English Books Online (EEBO), Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO) 65,000 texts from the British Library 19th Century collection and the UK Medical Heritage Library (UKMHL).

      Journal Archives brings together content from 8 major publishers: Brill, Institution of Civil Engineers, Institute of Physics, ProQuest, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, the Royal Society of Chemistry and Taylor and Francis as well as the complete run of the feminist magazine Spare Rib.
